With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Gopal has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of clinical research and biopharmaceutical development. His experience spans across working in various large Bio-pharmaceuticals, Clinical Research Organizations and Academic Research in Hospitals. His extensive global experience has seen him excel in leadership roles at premier organizations, including Director roles at At Dose India, George Clinical India, IQVIA, Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Omnicare Clinical Research. He also served as Clinical operations head and business strategy with Clinigene International (a Biocon Group Co.) and Merind India, locally. Gopal’s unparalleled expertise spans across multiple therapeutic areas such as infectious disease, oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, and dermatology, positioning him as a thought leader in the industry. He has experience he bring from his contributions to Pfizer, GSK, Searle and Hoechst in early parts of his clinical research career.
Renowned for his strategic leadership, Gopalkrishna has successfully led full-spectrum pre-clinical studies, clinical trials from Phase I to Phase IV and has been instrumental in establishing and managing world-class CROs and start-ups. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, project management and clinical operations has made him a trusted authority in ensuring seamless project execution, maximizing efficiency, and exceeding client expectations on a global scale. Recently, he has been part of greenfield risk-based monitoring and risk based quality and performance management metrics creation for a very large CVD project from a UK sponsor.
